Update from Us.

Hey Sweat Fam, Josh here from The Backyard Spa Project.

We hope you had an incredible holiday season. From Natty, Sage, and me, we are wishing you a strong, healthy 2026 with plenty of good sweats ahead.

First off, thank you. Truly. Thank you to everyone who has joined us on the bench, cycled through the tubs, and supported our vision of bringing traditional sauna culture to more people while creating a true third space where sauna becomes part of a weekly wellness routine.

It’s hard to believe it’s already been three months since we launched BYSP at the Get Lost Market at Sons & Daughters Winery. Since then, we’ve hosted 80+ guests in the sauna, welcomed 120+ people through group classes and events, and taken part in everything from Sauna Fest, the largest Sauna Social ever held in Canada, to music festivals and local pop ups.

November marked our first month of residencies, including Saturday Saunrise sessions with F45 Fonthill and Sunday sessions at Blackburn Brewing Company. While turnout was solid, we know consistency is key and with clearer schedules, familiar locations, and improved accessibility, we’re confident participation will continue to grow as more people build sauna into their routine.

What we’ve seen so far has us incredibly excited for what’s ahead and we’re just getting started.

Custom Sauna Builds | Invest in Your Long Term Health

Sauna isn’t just about how you feel after one session. It’s about what happens when heat and cold become a consistent, lifelong practice. Research shared by Harvard Medical School links regular sauna use to improved cardiovascular health, reduced stress, and increased longevity when practiced consistently over time. In other words, the real benefits come from repetition.

That’s why we believe one of the most powerful ways to invest in your long term health is by having a sauna where you live, built for daily or weekly use year after year.

As we head into 2026, we’re looking to collaborate with three people who are serious about making sauna a permanent part of their health routine. We’ll be building three traditional Nordic style custom saunas, designed for longevity, ritual, and real use.

Build details:
Typical custom builds: $20–25K
Founder pricing available: $12–15K
Limited to three builds only
Build windows: February, March, April 2026

If you’ve been thinking long term about your health and want to create something meaningful in your own backyard, this is an opportunity to invest early and intentionally with The Backyard Spa Project.
